Some comments from our recent home exchange partners:

Ruedi and Christine from Switzerland wrote:
We enjoyed our stay a lot! It’s an ideal spot from which to explore the peacefulness and beauty of the Lough Erne region on a sunny day whether by car, on the bike, on foot, while boating the wonderfully varied loughs or visiting one of the stately homes.

We also found much to discover further afield: Donegal and its beaches and the treasures of Ulster’s northwestern coastline.

Or then we whiled away our time in their pleasant home surrounded by countryside and within walking distance of Kesh. We just loved their sun-room – which even features a cosy fireplace, should the weather turn nasty.

Communication before our exchange was excellent. We were lucky enough to meet the Walkers at the airport – which was a most pleasant beginning of a very enjoyable holiday. We were provided with ample information about the area at their home – and we had the pleasure of meeting their delightful mothers for a chat over tea – including delicious home-baked scones!

Thanks a lot, Mervyn and Adele, for a most successful exchange!

We are just back from a very enjoyable and successful home exchange with the Walker family in Kesh, Northern Ireland. In fact it was definitely one of the best exchanges we have ever had. We are very experienced home exchangers with 30 exchanges during the last 20 years. Kesh is an ideal location for exploring Northern Ireland. It is a little charming town with several supermarkets, stores and of course some nice pubs. Northern Ireland does have a lot of offer with its beautiful and untouched countryside, the rugged coastline and of course its friendly and hospitable people. I wish everybody who is interested in going to Northern Ireland the same good luck we had when agreeing on an exchange with Mervyn and Adele Walker…and Jasper.

One of our other recent home exchange partners, Mikael & Sabine, wrote: Northern Ireland is a hidden pearl to discover and this house in Co Fermanagh is the perfect starting point to explore it with family. Our hosts are real “home exchange professionals” and know how to prepare everything right for their guests. We warmly recommend this place.
